I’m an artist based in Pittsburg, Kansas. I create bright, texture-heavy work inspired by folk art, playful design, and a love of a little chaos (!!)
My work often features bold color palettes, star motifs, and folk-inspired animals and florals. I blend digital painting with traditional media like acrylic gouache, colored pencil, and oil pastel to build layered, nostalgic pieces.
I’m especially drawn to patterns and decorative elements—I use them to fill space, guide the eye, and create rhythm throughout my work. I’m not interested in things feeling too perfect. Texture, variation, and a bit of mess are part of the charm :)
My work leans youthful, whimsical, and a little nostalgic. I want it to feel fun, expressive, and full of life.
Outside of my studio, I work as a librarian and designer, combining my love of books, illustration, and community-centered work. I’m currently pursuing my MLS at Emporia State University and serve on the Pittsburg Arts Council board, where I’m passionate about supporting local artists and making art more accessible.
My work is available online and at ArtForms Gallery in downtown Pittsburg.
